Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

he did say that, but we then looked at the regs and it didnt actually seem to say that.

to be honest, i'd always want indicators and brake lights on a car.

if its an import then it should come under different laws mate.
I say again If your car was built after a certain date for it to pass an MOT and be legal to use on roads in the UK it has to be fitted with side repeaters in the wings period. The inspector went and got the book of regulations out and made a few calls to find out if he could side step it but he was told no, For that age of car on UK roads come MOT time side repeaters have to be present.

Lol. Mine's an '88, my side repeaters dissapeared between MOT's and nothing was said. *wink*

TBH if the MOT station is fussy enough to fail it for not having side repeaters then your best off going somewhere else. *oh well*
I take all my cars there have done for years he even knows what day and time is best for me, now thats service and he likes his Mini's*happy*

It's all in here, sections 1.1 and 1.5

http://www.motuk.co.uk/manual/contents.htm

Interestingly its doesn't say the wiring etc. has to be omitted, it says permanently disconnected (and a couple of other options).

Schrödinger's cat - so which one am I ???
