Thats like saying you're better off having a convertible mini instead of one with a roof to hit your head on, but in reality you'd get absolutely destroyed.

Think id rather have some sort of cage than nout at all, no matter what people say!

that is a bit spechial needs, any rollcage will give extra strenght if its made form metal, even the alloy show cages will help in an accident. you saying that is like saying you would rather jump off a bridge with nothing rather than some tied up bed sheets. somthing is better than nothing.

Not really, how do you know if the non fia one is going to snap and not bend like it should?

mild steel by defenition is a low carbon steel, i.e. malliable and ductile, not brittle. i dont believe in cages for a road car, personally. but your takign your hatred of geronimo a bit far. imho ofcource :)

Because of the design and the materials used, having no dealing with this company I have no personal vendetta against them.

Look at the front hoop and how it’s connected to the back hoop, how is the angle of that going to retain any strength if the car lands on that corner?

Ill lay this at rest, I just advice people to take a critical look at the construction before you go head on into buying one.

I would feel far safer with any cage, FIA or not than not have one at all?!
