Well it was less then 5v yesterday and now nearly 12v so I'm hoping it will recover.

Not sure about the Odyssey batteries. The Varley lays on it's side under a special cover so realy want something the same size.

I have an Odyssey one of my race cars 1 of my road cars and I am using one on next years racer there the dogs dangly bits my racer and a customers racer have the Odyssey on its side under the rear seat with no problams there nearly all dry cell batteries.

True and the PVR30 is the same size as the Varley Red Top 30.
