do you have the new keepers bit of the logbook? head to the local dvla office...fork out the £25 and you got a logbook so you've done him over anyway...thats only an extra fiver over what you "owe" him

If you have a reciept then it his problem. he has to send off the Logbook, i would ring him and remind him that you have a reciept, and that his missus counted the cash.

You dont need him to send the log book off.

Wait a while then contact the DVLA, you get a new free logbook as you have the other half. it has a code on. I've had to do this recently for a car.
