Which RR did you use? I'm looking for one in the west Mids also.

Are they familiar with turbo/carb/megajolt tweaking? This seems to be a rare skill.

the first power run was as it came in, set up by me guessing at what worked fueling wise, coll turned the idle co down so it was only rich, basicaly its set up by me. but i think the needles very wrong if im making that power with 4psi, mg cam screwed the fueling up possibly as its rich at idle and seems to want more fuel at 3.5k rpm

collins is based in erdington B23 6PU and his numbers 0121 3500026,
basicaly hes a mini specialist garage with a rollin road, i think he mapps omex and mbe systems but im not sure about megajolt,

the leanoff pipes still fitted as i do 200 miles a week now, would this cause problems?

stowmaket suffolk

it will lean of a bit at that point as thats when you are then finding boost so the reg needs checking then the needle needs tweeking but if colin is a specialist then he should do that for you.

better of starting with a B needle as these are thicker at the top then adjust the needle all the way down to suit the boost and fuleing.

always looking for them bigger bunches of bannanas

i think im starting to get ideas about this, i dont go above 2k rpm until the engines properly warmed up, but i booted it a few days ago from coldish and it worked fine with no stutering, once it was warm it stutered so ive turned the fueling down by a quarter to half turn and it feels much better at part throttle and will accelerate well from a standstill but still spluters a little when accelerating in 4th. so probobley still to much fuel.
i go by the idea that id rather not have anyone other than me mess with my car, if the engine explodes then id rather it was me that exploded it, and seeing as coll charged me 15 squid im not sure what the arangment would be if number 3 conrod would have landed in my tea *surprised*

im gona check the reg and fitt a intercooler and lambda boss in the exhaust once the weathers better as i dont like lying in the snow , il try an get some pics up, cheers
