well, that looks better than the aus effort,

you have a nice triangle each side rather than a tube with a bend in it.

but, looking at yours, if you were to put a pulling/pushing force on the front corners of the frame where the tie rods locate where do the forces go?

on a std mini frame there is a nice sheet that goes directly back to the rear subframe mounts putting the load pretty directly into the shell. on yours it looks like it just locates onto the towers, which will flex.

just a wild thought, but for a frame like this would it be easier/better to swap the bottom arms sis to side and run the tie rods backwards onto the frame at the back?

i have a bar from the side bits to the bottom of the rear subby so hopefully this will be enough to overcome the problem with forces but im no engineer so could be wrong. its easier to see in this pic

the tie bar running backwards is an idea, and if possible would have saved me a lot of trouble but i dont think ivee ever seen any like that so dont know if its possible

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

A bit O/T but i just recognised my brother in the brown shirt and jeans to the left of the vid and at the end you see me standing next to him, a bit random!! The show that the vid was taken at was over 2 years ago, not a very neat car from memory, impressive non the less.
