that is a missive crack in the 8 port head, never seen an ally head crack like that before.

TBH that will weld fine its not in a very important place and as long as its welded proply it will survive just fine if he E-bays it make sure you post up the e-bay number :) On 17th Feb, 2009 Rob H said:

Something that rare would surely justify the cost of Cast iron welding. The only down side is that EVERYthing will need re machining, which isnt that much if you think about it on a head.

I'd get down the scrapper and look for the les leston wheel, works rally tank, trip meter, etc. You don't just have an 8 port head on a car without having other good bits.
