I honestly carnt think of anything that you could do to dramaticly lose more kg's, apart from removing a little bit from everything.

Every component has a safety factor built into it, i.e. its stronger than necessary. Im told its around 10%, therefore 10% of the weight of everything can be removed.
I seriously doubt it! |

My car is now under 450kg and the bodyshell is still steel other than aluminium doorskins, bootlid, bonnet, bootfloor and rear valence. It still has chrome demister duct bezels and ashtray in the dash, chrome around the windows and a headlining. Use that as inspiration and you'll be amazed what you can lighten. Paul if what you say is correct or there abouts correct Paul, the safety factor must be built in based on a car fully laden with four adults and a full boot, with 7 gals of fuel. |

we have spoke about this at length Paul ,there are two ways of producing carbon components. The correct way using an Autoclave at 100psi(making the components stronger and lighter), and all the other ways, which need 3 or 4 ltrs of lacquer I was waiting for you and Ralph to see that comment LOL Paul I seriously doubt it! |

not a clue, i was in a situation and needed one fast, so ebay came to my rescue at the right price, i'm going to hack my rear subframe about a lot, as I have no real weight in the boot and don't run cones, but need the rear part for my anti roll bar, there must be at least 5 kg i can get rid of from that!
