I use an output on the megasquirt, that initially primes the system for 2 seconds when the ignition is switched to position number 1. Then the pump is switched on a gain when cranking.

The pump stops 2 seconds after the engine stops (with the ignition still on).

I don't have an inertia switch, but I can see the advantages, as not all accidents will necessarily cause the engine to stop.

That sounds good. Can MJ Lite be programmed to do this? It's almost a factory solution...
