Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

I just use silicon in mine and no tubes, they're still pumped up now *smiley*

Its a case of each to their own on this one. it can be done successfully but as tom says, can be a bitch to clean up etc and certainly makes fitting tyres easier.

I use tubes with my wets but had heard that using tubes with tubeless tyres is a bit of a no no as the inside of the tyre is abrasive and can wear away the tube leading to a failure - please discuss!

you wont be contemplating for long , they can't be done, lol

what you say Nick probably has a bit of truth , but no where near as dodgy as the anal dickheads that usually come out with these statements would have us beleive, quite somply its use tubes or a very long sealing up process, ive got some of these on acustomer hillclimb car shared drive, he recently reported that they have performed perfectly for over three seasons now, with tubes fitted,

Doh doh doh! Just this week i have been emailing force racing about getting my mini specials done, as i had never seen them anywhere else. I had a fuzzy memory of them pictured in mini world some time ago (5-10 years?) and wanted them ever since. Been keeping quite about them lately so no one could steal my super secret wheel idea from a bygone age! My hopes were raised after discovering they could still be done, but now dashed forever! Guess i've been living in the garage too long. still getting them as i've not seen them on any cars around here. boo!!

They're 6" I think. Ask Carl.. lol.

They now have black centres thanks to Nicky and some Hammerite *wink*

Just be careful Carl's six inches are considerably more generous than most.

what you think to them Carl? reckon they could be split.
usually you just split the front dish but would it be possibly to split the rear dish? making them a 3 piece

quick edit: looming at the pic the hole for the valve may pose a problem?

There needs to be sufficient material cast in the wheel to allow it to be machined back and then drilled to bolt the outer rim too, the outer rims are similar to those used on carls 3 piece wheels, so available in 10" and 13".
