Right, I'm digging this up again in the hope that someone has conclusive evidence of how corrosive E85 is (I'm looking at you, Joe). There are 2 stations within a couple of miles of my house so I'm tempted to start using it. After looking at the MSDS for it, it doesn't specify any major corrosion problems On 12th Nov, 2009 Paul S said:

Thanks for the advice Joe. It will be used in the VNT'd E30 (1989). It has a factory CR of 8.8:1 so I can probably get away with ~0.8 bar on petrol or a hell of a lot more on E85 hehe.

I'll have to find somewhere to get POR first. I just had a look on frost and there are shipping restrictions applied to it.

I'm sure you could find someone to forward you some POR in an illicit box.
