Standard with different arches maybe groupe 2 with chrome edge, but I'm always drawn to the retro look.

Here's what the new arches look like...







Ive had a closer look at the wheels, and the laquer is pealing off in places so would be no more work to paint now. I think im going to try one dusted in black, then try another with colour coded centre, and see what they look like. :)

Worth a try though...*oh well* I think I'll stick with original colour with a highly polished rim.



Whats people opinion on using smooth finish hammerite on wheels? Is this a big no no?

Dood thats what makes it in my eyes, IMHO understated Minis with crazy engines are the muts nuts.

altho I think a black window filite strip would be nice

best way to polish them is plently of wet and dry working your way down to a fine grade, this is wat i did with my superlights, works a treat

Currently building the new engine - 1312 t25 a series!
