I know what you mean V. My rods took me about a week. But my crank took an afternoon. The little nooks and crankies on the rods make them really tough to get nice and smooth. "So wat we gonna do tonight Brain?"

Personally i would always shot peen them after doing something like that, but then i am a bit biased as i can do it at work...... is it worth me speaking to the powers that be at work and find out how much they would want to peen a set of rods?? could prob do some sort of return postage so distance wouldnt be a problem.... We're based in poole if anyone is local!! And on the 7th day........... God created turbochargers! |
