I was going to write "Bellamy came up to me from behind and took me hard around Gerrards, he then kept up an awsome pace right until the end"

Great write up Jon, shame about the oil seal problem but at least its not a catastrophic failure and easily sorted.

Just like Damon Hill at the '97 Hungarian GP in the Arrows.

Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

Yes a few quid seal, just as important as any other componant on the car, every part has it's job and if one of those parts fail it has huge consiquenses.

You got any dyno figures for the car you can reveal Jon or is that top secret?

Bit of a secret to be honest, but plenty more than standard and they rev to over 8k on a cam timing of 110 and 250lb valve springs

Well at 8k with 7psi boost and no IC using a T3 you can work out an approximate power figure. I just have, very interesting.

Edit: Jon try using the later black MPi seal, it's a bit better.

do you think? I think the spring on the MPI seal is not held into the seal good enough, I find they often slip out of the seal, and then he will have the same problem as this time.

BTW there is a viton seal about. Keith Calver stocks them. I have actually reused min several times now, and I have not been the kindest when putting the transfer housing on (a bit in a hurry once or twice)

Its expensive, but nice!

Then you'll have less power than I calculated!

Combe is always a saturday Rob, I'll sort you a ticket.

The prices of race entries have gone up by about £20 and they are only issuing 4 ticket, normally 6, per entry, 1 is the drivers?... getting stupid!!

mallory wa £14 to get it in.

Are the prices the same whether you pay on the gate or pre-book yeah?

I dont like pre-boking incase somthing comes up so i'd rather pay at the gate.

Was it alot cheaper last year then was it?
