Them last pics are from a Ford Focus, charger conversion.. Belong to a guy called Will

This is how I want to do mine, but its space.

You'd need a tank in the boot I reckon for water to try keep it cool, a front mounted rad with fans and just hope you can get it all to fit lol.

Lightweight racer coming soon.

Dont forget that typew of charge cooler will not work with a wet manifold set up.

I have my views on the Vmax thingy, but I will reserve the right to keep them to my self untill it has been tested outside of Vmax. Im not sure as to its real purpose. Is it to cool the charge air or the charger. Hope you didnt pay too much for it *oh well*

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Right, its finally all installed and working. From watching the inlet air temps whilst driving i reckon this has knocked around 10 degrees out of the charge temps which is pretty promising.

I had a few problems with the data logger yesterday so will get graphs up shortly.

I noticed that my AFR was at a constant 13.40 and that air temps was 12 degrees and coolant at 34 degrees!!

I found that the 100 0hm resistor on the lambda 0-5v signal had given up the ghost which i think was causing the data logger to do some weird things. Lucky it was in open loop at the time!

Anyways will give it another go once ive replaced the resistor and then post the graphs up.

out of interest, what sort of charge temps are you getting on the suck through setup? and at what kind of boost levels?

Sounds good. Have you any more pics please of the final install and how its all plumbed in.

If this works I think I may be going supercharged rather than turbo!

Lightweight racer coming soon.

Radleigh, what about saving some money over the suck through kits, and making your own blow through setup using a front mounted eaton? All you'd need is a complete turbo carb/fuelling setup, then to mount the charger above the alternator, and plumb it to the plenum via an IC. Sort out a decent BOV to avoid boosting on over run and you're away! More power potential, and less money.

I'm looking for 150bhp ideally, nothing more and not wanting to mod the body in anyway as its a Paul Smith mini... sad I know but... lol

I think supercharging spells the end for originality as it is. If it needs the odd hole here or there go for it, get one over on rust by putting holes in before it get a chance.
