Championship winning my arse!

I have hot the arse with the championship as they still have Class A, class A very rarely attracts more than 3 entries, so if you win and set a fastest lap you gain 12 points, like I did on Sunday. If in Class A you are second in a 2 car claass you still earnt 8 points(an extra point to make it 9 if you bag fastest lap). So in a class with only 2 cars race technically you could be last in race, your engine could overheat, lets say, sit in the pitlane till the chequers wave and role accross the line bagging 8 or 9 points!!...Whilst the 20 more more expensive fast and entertaining Class C and B battle it out.

To add insult to injury class A now allows Rover 200's into it.

I was proposed that points could on be earnt if 3 cars in a class enter a class. does that sound fair?

Rant over.

Certainly sounds like some form of weighting is needed Jon to make it fairer.

I am not sure how weighting would help Tom?

For example the class A cars only get say 3 points for a win and 1 point for 2nd etc etc- weighted to the no of cars in the class.

Yes Tom, with you now, dozey here was thinking KG weight.

We have mentioned this at meeting gone by, but nothing happens.

I have voiced my opinion again to the organisers again.
