Cheers guys, I've been looking at the heads on Phills website (does Benross have a website?) and they look extremely good value for money!

When I said a second hand turbo head, I actually ment something like a 25c MED turbo head or something, not a standard 940 metro casting with the larger exhaust stems and a whole load of scene tax!

I'm prepared to take my time over whatever I do, the car is running perfectly at the moment in it's n/a 5 port form, and is fairly quick as it only weighs 570kg.

I've just never felt the turbo delivery suits the style of my car, for years it's had a lairy n/a motor that revs to 8k in every gear, and I've always been led to believe most turbo's don't rev much past 6k (I'll admit, most of my knowledge of turbo mini's comes from Reading Bud666's posts on TMF and finity about 4 years ago!). I ride the wave of torque all day long in my audi (all 290 of them) and the mini has always been such a refreshing change.

it's too slow though, 115ish bananas just doesn't get it up hills fast enough with my fat arse in the drivers seat.

in that case, Id be looking at a more efficient charger than the eaton.

Im interested in doing a blow through charger setup but i would have to find a charger than can run higher boosts more efficiently.

This is where my focus would be. You could have a high powered and nicely driveable motor.

Benross doesnt have a website but deals through here via PM. look for some of his for sale threads for ideas on price and spec.

Hello Jamie! How did you find your way over here? In the quest for more power I assume?

haha, just came back to this thread to steal some pic links for another board, to see I'm being abused for my apparent mental state!

Have missed something Josh? or am I simply being slated for wanting to use a poopercharger instead of a Turdo?

Sad news is, I've just bought an Eaton, so the madness can commence!

(Disclaimer: I am fully prepared to eat humble pie and turbo it if this M45 idea is wank)

oh yea, and I sacked off the gp5 arches, and went with miglias, in preperation for some 7x10's when funds allow.

yea, i think I posted some boot open pics to show the rear turrett work, hence the tank being in shot in the coilovers thread :)

Sadly I can't take credit for the fuel tank in a fitted dropped box idea. That was the brain child of my late friend Oli Lewis
