Those pics are from Mike Bastiano who used to own that KAD Mini Marcos. But it is now at Mini Technique as I saw it there a couple of weeks ago when I popped in to get some spark plugs of the proprietor.

Weell blow me down, someone else that knows / remembers Mike Bastiano,

he was a thorn in my side at Baitings Dam hillc limb way back in the mid 90s, when i was running the don in marque sport and touring class , the don was aheavy car compared to mikes marcos,

he could run regular mid 29 secs and as i was always amalgamated into mod prods i would be up against him, over 1/2 second behind him, but i liked baitings it was small and short but friendly and compact with lots of runs,

it always seamed that the clubs like trackrod and mid cheshire ran it for the competitors rather than for there own profit,.

then mike fit the very early KAD but was not really any faster,

strangly enough when i would come up against him at the likes of Harewood or Three sisters i could kick his arse . by at least 2 seconds at the latter and more like 4 seconds at Harewood,,

a bit ot but hey a bit of nostalgia never hurt anyone,
