Guys, how are you running 14.7psi+?

I currently use a standard 4.5 psi actuator (albeit a new one when the turbo technics re-built my T3) on my mini, and the electronic solenoid of the metro turbo to open it up to 14.7psi.

My question is if I was to get say an 8psi actuator, and used a bleed valve with that, how much extra boost could I gain? Is there a rule of thumb?

I want to run around 17psi and I?m aware that you can buy fully adjustable actuators, but I want to retain my 2 stage boost set up with the electronic solenoid and with fine tuning done with a bleed valve.

The way I've set up my current 2 stage boost is to T off the actuator hose. I have a bleedvalve on one side, giving be about 7/8psi, and the electronic solenoid on tuther. If i get an 8psi actuator, i would not use the T piece, but place one barb of the bleedvalve in the actuator hose, blank the seccond and have the electronic solenoid on the third barb. That way when I flick the boost switch, I can limit the boost with the bleedvalve.

Any thoughts?*tongue*

Hannibal: There are two ways we can do this: the easy way and the hard way. In a few minutes my friends and I are going to come down on you like your worst nightmare. You're gonna wish the Earth had opened up and swallowed you whole.
bad guy: What's the easy way?
Hannibal: That WAS the easy way.
