I use AEM and am happy with it. always reliable.

It has a 0-5V output which i havent used yet but will be in the next few weeks, feeding it into my Emerald and using it for data logging.

iain, will the 5v output be good for logging?

my (limited and prob wrong) understanding is that this mimmicks a narrow bands output so you can use your aem with stock ecu and not have to weld another boss to the exhaust?

i presumed this wouldnt give very accurate info, but would love to be wrong?

p.s im kak with this electronics business!

You can set the AEM to either mimick a narrowband output (which is 0 - 1V) or it can give a linear output 0-5V.

as tom says, it can give a linear output to the ECU. I think the K3 can handle a wideband anyway, cant remember. i've got the manual somewhere, i'll look!
