Metro vans had the 3.65, did they not? On 26th Oct, 2004 TurboDave16v said:
Is it A-Series only? I think it should be... So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'... On 26th Oct, 2004 Tom Fenton said:

Doesnt the 998E have a 2.95? Yep. I remember it being a 3.1 but in hindsight it was a 2.95 as I kept the final drive for use in my mega project..... Until I decided it was a low use all out job and to run a 2.54 first with a 3.7FD on 10" wheels. All academic as it's all in boxes still. Bugger off, I'm getting there. |

Motorway is such a boaring road, I find myself falling asleep. The 3.7 keeps things interesting on the A and B roads, no need to think about changing gear too often, and goes like shit off a shovel. Granted I have an extra 2k rpm to keep it going. How do you think the DON get the times it does
As long as you are prepaired to avoid the motorways and experience the world, you won't regret it
That tall first however would be beneficial

Unfortunatly the van has to earn it's keep, so it needs to be driveable at motorway speeds....

Fuel economy is what you worry about when youve got no petrol.
