What size wheels? What Diff, What drops, What RPM is your redline? We should be able to work it out. If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

I've had mine off the clock. The clock stops at 90. At 90mph the engine is doing 5500rpm and will sit there quite happily, and I have another 2500 spare, thats Normaly Aspirated. It should top out at 130 but Im not trying On 26th Oct, 2004 TurboDave16v said:

i hit 126MPH ( on a private test track OF COURSE) The other day colin,still accelerating ,this was calculated from the 6500rpm , and the rpm /thousand i got at avon in top gear . that was on 6 psi so approx 120 to 130 bhp ,so youd need another ,what ,25 to 30 bhp ? Nothing to report on top speeds, but im surprised the gearbox is still in one piece Thats a whole other standard non cooper 1275 worth of extra bananas ontop the 105 I already have
