how about taking a skim off the front edge of the fan in a lathe?

good point Andy! my supercharger is currently in my garage floor, and most definately hasn't found it's way into the engine bay just yet!

Are all the vmax charged cars limited to around 6500rpm then? due to belts wandering?

I've found an extra spacer and put that in now.

no I don't think they are, that was just his advice as the fan was close to the belt.

there's 2 spacers between the fan and pulley now.

ah, i was going to suggest that, but thought you would have thought of that.

well to tell the truth I didn't realise how much the fans "grow" at higher revs.

also I didn't get the intructions to fit the charger which say about all the things like this. never mind, it's all back together.
