the trick is to drill the easiest hole first... then stick some masking tape round the drill to mark it so you know when you are about to break through, then you can go nice and careful at the end, and use a big drill, I think did mine 3.5mm.

Also it helps if your used to drilling holes with sub 1mm carbide drills, the little bastards are like glass!!

At the end of the M8x1 tapped hole, is it just a small 2/3mm hole towards oil ways?

Also how deep have you gone with m8 (7.5mm to tap)?

I've drilled the two easy ones, need some longer drill bits to do the others. As they're right in the corners being a 1330, so none of my bits are long enough to reach.

I did snap a drill bit, ham fisted!

I'll have a look at your pictures.
