also people getting the 2 way dampers will need to know the open and closed lengths I should think.

I know I'm running the front of my car a lot lower than the coilover beakers currently available will allow so I'm going to have to make up some new beakers that go onto the top arms.

if anyone is interested I got get a few sets made up as I know someone that can get lazed cutting done.

They are about £100 a pair retail price.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

single adjustable coil overs are 80 a piece, double adjustables are 170 a piece retail, plus VAT.

I think this is the price for standard dampers not coil overs etc.

do the front coilovers come with fitting brackets? i've had spax in the past and the bracketry was useless and needed to be re worked to get the car low enough and to get full use out of the travel of the shocks

I'd be up for a set of lowered single adjustables (non-coil-over) if the shipping wasn't too outrageous to Canada.

Yep Paul that seems to be the price that I can find and also 200 for the rear offset mount coilovers.

Ted I will find out postage cost when I know some more details, probably won't send them through royal mail though!!

beststig it depends on how they want to run the group buy, weather people are going to pay them or they want all the money at once.

I think the best way is to decide a week that is ok and the everyone pays within that week.

right price are in at basically all works out to roughly 10%

people wanting rear coilovers need to decide on length either 12 13 or 14" I'm guessing every one wants the 12"?

also people wanting the front 2 way coilovers, they currently do 2 1/4" spring seat version which has 1 knob and 1 slot type adjusters for the bound and re bound.

but he is developing a 1.9" spring seat with 2 knobs to adjust the bound and rebound which he is saying will be superior to the previous type and being the smaller spring will be lighter and give more clearance.

downside is there will be a 6-10 week lead time. which may not be too bad as I guess it will take a few weeks to get all the orders together.

so the prices will be

non coilover telescopic type in lowered or standard height £44.25

rear offset coilover in any off the lengths £139.50 + cost of spring

front 2 way adjustable coilover £139.50 + cost of spring

as far as the springs go, if people all want the same lb springs I think I can get 10% off at Faulkner springs if not a rear 7" spring is still only £21.07 from merlin so you will still be making a good saving.

the above prices all include vat but will be + postage which will obviously be at cost price and I will try and send them via a corrier so we don't have to worry about any strikes.

think that's every thing!

sorry I wrote that on my phone and can't edit it properly but the rear coilovers price for a pair, the other prices are each.

and the 2 way fronts are bearing type mounts, and we need to decide open and closed lengths.

I would prefer to wait for the better 1.9" spring shockers.

I'll try and sort out the lengths.

yes I agree I'd prefer to wait.

but I can probably order the whole lot and pay for the 2 ways when they are ready that way the people that don't want then don't have to wait.

I need to decide whether to go for the low or extra low rear coilovers. Does anyone know the approximate height from the sill seam to the ground for these coilovers. I measured approximately 22cm on my car. Does anyone have these fitted that can take a measurement?

Another factor is what is the best way to decide what length spring to go for? Any suggestions, I don't really know where to start.

P.s when are you likely to want payment? I am in Amsterdam for a week from friday.

Thanks
