These new modern turbos with their quick spool up time, would make the competition harder.

then move the rad or oil cooler.

the intoer cooler needs to go in front of either of these (or more correctly not behind) as they will warm it up, making it fairly pointless.

To get the R5 one in you will need to trim the front panel a little behind the grille, then there should be room to fit it with the rad etc.

If the i/c hadn't already been picked up I would have put a pic up showing what I mean.

If I was going turbo in my clubman I would have used it myself, but I'm not....

Just keep trying. I've had about 6 now and only 2 have been on the car. You just need to find out what works or what you need to change to get it to work.

When I had a front mount rad in my old clubby I got a dizzy cap with the plug lead connectors on the top and bottom, gave me about an 1" of extra clearance

you need a slightly longer lead for number 2 or 3 if you fit this. You also have to trim it as just has holes for the screw in typ dizzys. took me 5 minutes to fit it on my car. saves getting your leads caught in your fan.

What side of the rad is your fan on and how big is it??

Shropshire.

ditch the dizzy and get megajot.

ok it will cost a bit more but you will end up doing it in the end anyway!

i have shit loads of room in the front of my clubby even with a front mounted rad.

I often find myself tempted to swap my round nose front for a clubby front, just for the ease of fitting everything in with the clubby front!

If it's in under where the original rad shroud is air should flow across it like a side mount radiator.

Not the absolute best setup for performance but if he is stuck for space at the front with a metro radiator, dizzy and oil cooler it may be the best solution for him.
