What is the point of having the selection of how many items are displayed on one page? Are there people still using computers that are slow and can only laod ten items quickly?

I select the 50 items per page every time as it just gets irritating having to wait for 5 pages top load when you can start browsing while the rest of the page loads with 50 items.

Another thing while I think about it, if you do a real random search which has more than 5 pages of results, you may have seen something on page 4, carried on searching to page 6 perhaps, and decided you want to go back to page four and have another look, but page four is not in the list of availabe pages, so you have to navigate with the back button.

Only small things, but its these small things that could make the difference.

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

I think if it was sorted properly you would actually increase sales , sometimes i look on there and go to buy something i dont need right away cant find it and think "i,ll get it when i need it" rather than a spur of the moment purchase .

I bet my first wank came quicker than your first mini turbo

These new modern turbos with their quick spool up time, would make the competition harder.

Looking at the website you loose about 50% of the available space on the page because the product line is squeezed on both sides by menus and fluff.

To be fair, if I'm on a retail site I really don't give a fig about podcasts and press releases when what I'm really there to do is buy stuff. That kind of thing could be hidden away in categories of their own for the people who are into them.

Can you make the cookies work for remembering 'expanded browsing' or whatever you call it in the sections as well.

I dont know whether it happens only in Firefox, or IE as well, but it's rellly annoying having to tick the little box every single time.

King Gaycharger, butt plug dealer, Sheldon Cooper and a BAC but generally a niceish fella if you dont mind a northerner

When you send them a message through the 'Contact US' form, after you have clicked send it still show severything you have typed in the fields and a message in red. Red is for errors and the line is easily missed, making me think it hasn't sent as the text is still there.

Could this be changed to a plane confirmation page, maybe showing your message as text in the page rather than the boxes you filled in?

good source of reference is the mosses catalog as it has exploded diagrams and uses the same part numbers as minispares (i'll upload it later for you, meeting first) main thing i hate is that it doesnt save your viewing preferences ie show 50 all the time and that when you put something in your basket if you dont buy it whenever you check your basket it remembers previous items and shows them in like a wish list and i cant for the life of me clear it....frustrating.

but i also see your point about the drops searching i had to use the chat service and ask for the drop part numbers.

edit: catalog below

Another one to add..... (having just been placing an order before the VAT free offer expires)

There isn't a "quick order" feature, or if there is I can't find it....

I've been building my list over the last few weeks so have all the MiniSpares part numbers and quantities but I can't enter them, I have to use the part number in the search field to bring up the description page and order from there so everything took 3 times as long as it should have.

Just go to Screwfix (just as a typical example) and go to "Catalogue quick shop" to see what I mean.

Schrödinger's cat - so which one am I ???

Excellent idea Rod we actually already have this on part of our site so shouldn't be difficult to implement it. Taz surely that link is the same as the link i posted earlier however ours is hyperlinked to the parts.

erm tbh at first i didnt see your link but now i've seen what your on about its still better than going into IE or having to DL loads of pdf's and log in etc....

mine still makes more sense for searching for everything as a POR, ofc this is my view only. if MS did something downloadable, exploded and hyper linked and in one book then link away i will gladly use it :)

edit:

link to combined MS catalog all in one easy to use book!
