Its due to a build up of carbon, if you go to stall the car then turn it off while stalling it it should fix the problem. Happens to higher proformance engines with a greater psi, for example im running 190-200psi in each cylinder in a non turbo 1410cc and it tends to run on a bit......stall to fix. |

It's not always a build up of carbon, I've had it happen on newly built engines, with zero carbon build-up. Never really solved it. Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph
