I've come across a fair few of these during my time surveying; the bigest issue is normall coming up against one in a crawl space and not getting out fast enough!

get rid before it starts the damp problems

A guy a work went into a room on a roof that had a wasp nest against the door that he disturbed.

He poo'd his pants and ran off, down the ladder, and then realised he had left all his stuff (including van keys) on the roof

A handy hint, (this works with Bee's and i belive it does with wasps too) if they go mental, spray somthing black with a CO2 extiquisher, they will then focus on attacking that.

blimey , imagine that making the plaster board damp and then falling through onto your bed !it would probably take a crow bar to get the person out from under the duvet.and even then thier face would look like this ... *surprised*

Medusa + injection = too much torque for the dyno ..https://youtu.be/qg5o0_tJxYM

impressive hive:) No sure if mine's "better", but I thought I'd show you anyway: I found this one last summer in the South of France. The hive is smaller, but the beasties are a lot bigger; these are 4-5 cm long hornets (the junction box you see is about 4x4"). The humming noise is quite intimidating, especially in a small poolhouse like this one. In the end we called the fire brigade to get rid of them; way too dangerous for the average (unprotected) DIY-er like yours truly*wink*

Thats bloody Huge! I'd stand well back.

I remember when i was about 10, one summer, i was playing football with some mates on the green at the end of our street, and the ball went in the hedge, where was a large nest. We had the clever idea of getting golf clubs, and smashing, we got stung from head to toe.
