have you searched for "headgasket" in the 998 section?

"Turbo's make torque, and torque makes fun"

"did you know you can toast potato waffles?"

Fuck 1275 valves in a 295 head.

I've used 998 A+ inlet valves as exhausts after turning them down in a lathe.

I'd still advice bronze guides in a turbo engine, especially the exhaust guides.

i use 1275 valves turned down to suit the std 295 head , Just make sure you use 1275 springs too , if tension is weak you can use spacers under the springs. I dont run spacers and use the 8000rpm minispares springs.

i use standard replacment oil pump with no troubles, has been slightly modifed for better lube but is std flow. All this works for my 160hp 1100 turbo :)

i dont have a photo but ill try explain,

there is two inner parts in the pump, the round bit and the bit inside that looks similar too a gear right.

the round bit i cut a little slit on outside with die grinder (not all the way to egde using a 3mm ball burr) cant remeber if i only did one or did three? . Then drilled a 1.5mm or 1mm ahh memory , into the centre.

the motor is being pulled down soon ill try get some pics and tell you the exact details.

this mod just helps the oil pump stayed well lubed , i had troubles with the old one scoring up the aluminium .

the standard replacement pump has been working fine flow wise with the turbo and 13row oil cooler.

edit :
head gasket i use ACL monotoque seems fine with arp studs

Minispares have recently started suppling a small bore equivalent to the BK450 http://www.minispares.com/Product.aspx?ty=...0/998/1098%20...

Al though I haven't tried it, I will do on my next build.
