sorry to post on an old thread, but i have a v3 megajolt and it doesnt have the setting where you can offset the entire map. Can i get it to do this without +1 or -1 on my entire map?

I am trying to find out what my offset is.

i have the MJ map set to 0 and the gun reads 6degrees when the mark aligns to 0 on the crank. does this mean i have to -3 degrees from all my values in my MJ map?

what do you mean by offset?

There's a correction option for angle correction on the crank position sensor, just make sure you set it the correct way (positive or negative). Mike knows all about that *wink*

It's in the options somewhere.

I tried messing about with this but it would not change the offset, so in the end had to adjust all the values in the table by 4 degrees which is a bastard as i've now moved the bracket to get better clearence for the fan belt.

Yeah this is my problem. but im having trouble working out how far out it is. im guessing its 3 degrees out but i dont know wether to + it to all the values or - it...

When it should be 0 its reading 6 on the gun or when the gun is 0 its reading 3 on the crank.... (normal timing gun so reads double). right so do i add 3 to all my values or -3 from all my values?

And yeah when i say offset i meant correction for if you have the sensor a few degrees out.

Cheers Johnny.
