Nice Gauges... I've got the Silver Ultra-Lite's in mine, It was cheaper to get em from America than from the UK Agents - And Speedy Cables make up Custom Cables for the Speedo if you need one... *smiley*

Edit - although closer viewing would suggest not...

Definitely cheaper going to america but it does take alot longer. Not in the need for a custom cable but i am wondering what i can get away with to pass a MOT? Ive heard somewhere that you can use a push bike speedo. What do you need to pass a MOT??? (speedo wise)

Just done some more bits for the dash. Moved the key and the switches into the cross member and a new battery box that will live under the dash.

I reckon there's scope for a few speed holes in that battery box.

Stop it Rob. You are making me think about drilling holes in absolutly everything! I'm making the fatal mistake of buying scales to live in the garage this week...

Battery box looks nice though.

Rob is your garage floor covered in round bits of metal, like sawdust in a hamsters cage? lol

A set of scales are a must for any garage! Its nice to see how much you got rid of after a few hours drilling

My pride and joy is a heat shield I made for the exhaust on my mates Maguire:

I've never bothered with scales, I just work on the grounds of removing material until I can't think of anything else that can be removed safely.

very nice indeed!
Any chance on a bit more info on how you got the what looks to be perfect shape and fit, did you just use the cardboard cut outs? and how did you bend it?

Defo fancy a go at this looks really nice
Cheers

EDIT: How thick is the alloy?

That is one great looking shape for the dash. Good skills.

Richard.

Minivanless, but reluctantly happy living with the decision. There'll be another one day.
