Before the days of 'Health and Safety' we were replacing a refrigeration compressor on a unit on a roof of a Computer Data Center, about 6meter high. The compressor weighed about 75kg. Not wanting to have to carry it back down the access ladder, we threw it off the roof into one of the flower beds that surrounded the building in the thought that it would give it a soft landing. Well to cut the story short, we could never find it, and the small crater it made we coverd it over, and I know for certain that it is still there, nearly 16 years later On 26th Oct, 2004 TurboDave16v said:
