Two cars I hated, both hire cars while mine was in for repair.

shortest time i drove a car before it broke was a volvo v40 estate, 129 miles on the clock went for a hearty drive and the turbo failed the replacement hire car to that hire car was another v40 had no problems with that

the worst car i can recall recently was my dads omega - even the wife as a passenger had concerns about its ability although to be honest i think there is just something very wrong with it!

A 1947 TC MG - no power, no brakes, abysmal handling/roadholding,noisy and uncomfortable -why do the MG enthusiasts think they are so wonderful ?

mines either our lasses matiz or the saxo i bought off the mum i drove it home and never touched it again, the seat didnt adjust neither did the steering wheel.... still sold for a tidy profit

All the Minis I have had were bad. But as with my first Metro they were just individually bad examples and not reflective of all Minis and Metros.

The worst new car I ever drove was a Daewoo Nexia. In fact it was so bad I cannot remember why. I think my mind has blanked it out like some past trauma.

I didn't think much of the Mini One either. Considering it was bigger than the original the interior space sucked. I thought the suspension was harsh so I couldnt imagine what the Cooper S would be like. It was a very disappointing experience as I did actually like them when they were first launched. I thought they should have arrived in 1980 and been the new Mini Metro.

I have driven a fair lot of crappy cars including the worst of their era (Citroen Visa with the 652 cm3 engine !) but strangely enough I had fun with those ...

Some I didn't had fun with and beeing new cars of some 15 years later, I really think they were horrible.

And the winner is : Daewoo Matiz !
The car is so lame and designed with such confidence that if you use the key in the lock to open the door, the alarm start horning, designers didn't believe their own lock !
And yes, the car alarm uses the car horn !!!!

Has to be a Hyundai Trajet, had one as a hire car for a while when I was waiting for a new company car to arrive! The kids thought it was great though.

There was this one really shitty little car that Austin made seriously underpowered with an asthmatic 1 litre engine, rubbish brakes, the really crap seats, bugger all space, a boot that you could barely fit your scarnies in, the worlds worst stereo and totally rubbish build quality. I think they called it the Mini City.

kel's range rover pulling 11 mpg makes it the worst for me, comfy though.
