Matt... get a Mac, it'll look better on ya desk! If you want a computer that just works without needing to be a computer geek to keep it running and up to date, then get the Mac.

last year i bought a laptop, dell inspiron 15, they had a good deal on and i upgraded the cpu. its identical to a ibook hardware wise, works well, but when you compare any mac to pc it comes down to the small things like how the keys feel, the noise of the cooling fans and so on. if you pick up my laptop with one hand where the dvd drive is, it flexes, not nice but then it only cost 390.
