OK I,m encouraged to persist a bit more. The 5000rpm limit was just because we were only checking that the car would be fuelled correctly for the period until I get the MJ fixed -I,m not towsing it all the way to 7K until i,m sure its all correct.The boost was similarly restricted on this occasion as I am intending to run 10/12 psi in due course and I know the car feels much stronger at this level, with the previous engine.
