TBH, I can't fault any of the KAD kit on my car, and the customer service is second to none. If there are any problems in the future, I'm sure KAD will put them right.

If you can afford a pair of KAD hubs, you can afford to ring them up

So says Mr. Fenton,

Thanks for reminding me that I can only afford stuff for my mini, and not calls over seas, as that is not part of my phone plan. I'm not as rich as some people.

So you can afford some $660 hubs, but not a $5 phone call to see if they are right for your car?

$5? I don't think you've priced it, it's 1.00 a minute on my plan for over seas calls, and KAD would be no less than a twenty dollar call. That's twenty bucks I could use towards buying them. That's how broke I am. I either have to save to buy the hubs, or make the phone call and wait longer.

Not right now no. I said I wanted them, not that I'm going to buy them today and put them on.

I've already started on the body work. I really want these hubs, but they'll have to wait until I get enough together to upgrade the front brakes. I'm treating the car to a total Carbon Weezel set up(front end, roof and boot lid) with the tax refund I'm getting back. Then I can put the car back together.

Its prob works out best you carnt afford them, then while your saving up people will be testing them and find out any issues they have.

salt is the main factor here why they are not for a car doing 100 miles per day!

Does anybody know why they are not anodoised?
I suppose you could do a Jimster and anodoise them yourself if you were concerned about the salt on the roads corroding them

leeds/wakefield.

They are probably not anodised because as they are cast they will not come up with a nice finish, plus the hastle of shipping out to have done only for folk to grumble about the dodgy finish,
although you can just protective anodise them ,

i suspect that with all the oil and shit around the engine spewing out of breathers they will soon build up a protective coating of oil .
i nkow the Dons front end is soon covered in shite from the breathers,
or is thta because i can't build a good engine that stays sealed up,lol
