In Defence of some of Mike Barnbys products our cars do 200 MPH on them and i've not had a problem. I've got both mag centres and CNC ali from him.

As far as bolts go DO NOT use stainless, they are way too brittle. You want to be using good quality cap heads of 12.9 grade, these are alloy steel, quenched and tempered as apposed to all other grades that are usually medium carbon steels. These give a minimum ultimate tensile strength of 174,000 psi, that is an equivalent to NAS624 (these are national aerospace standard bolts used where high tensile fatigue strength is required, these are very expensive !!!!!!!!).

You need to make sure you get a bolt with the correct grip length ( the unthreaded portion) as this should extend all the way through the metal being clammped. You do not want the thread to be taking any of the loadings as this will damage the wheel and the thread.
