You'll have to grow your hair if you get the S2000

both have different stigma attached to them for one reason or another, which could go on a con list, but if you're looking for fun and laughs my vote would be the STi - i have always liked the s2000 but surely the Subaru is a much more impressive and performance driven beast...

So what you are saying is that a 4-door saloon family car with some extra plastic and a turbo is a more focused sports car than a specifically designed sports car? Are you sure?

Pretty sure. I can't imagine too many areas that the s2000 will surpass the family wagon performance wise... I guess a lovely little MX-5 is a specifically designed sports car too, but I wouldn't want one. Either of these cars would be a hoot though - I've wanted both in the past. Could an Evo be thrown into the decision mix? *smiley*

Well..........

After months of deliberation, the decision was made for us. Went to look at an S2000, only to find I can barely fit in it without grinding my legs down a little. As a toy car I could have put up with it, but not as a daily, much to the disappointment of the missus.

After scouring the net for a suitable impreza, one turned up just down the road, in budget and having only done 39'000. Too good to turn down so here it is.

It is bloomin fantastic, the grip is excellent, and the noise very addictive. Only problem now is we keep fighting over it!

Just need someone to buy the Volvo now
8-)

Very nice. Don't go putting an ironing board on the boot lid.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

Very nice, A good friend of mine has just got an 07 sti that the missus uses every day, definitly more user friendly than the evo but still great for a blast.
