From what I have read the Accralites I have sit about 0.6mm down the block so I have a bit to play with.

Did you say your Omega's sat 0.5mm down?

0.5 ontop of whatever the original was, the gudgeon pin to crown is 0.5mm less on my pistons than the stock spi piston (21963)

Yes i moved to the darkside *happy*

Strange?? why no run the correct pulley size? I suppose it allows you to fine tune the boost?

No the eatons have an internal recirc for this. The recirc that vmax fits is basically a bleed off the outlet of the charger.

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.
VEMS + 12 PSI + Liquid Intercooler = Small Bore FUN!

I guess its simply to save a few quid by not replacing one of the pulleys.

How much does a pulley cost?!

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

I think the sale price is a ton for the ally ones.. however on a side note I have an ally tensioner and looking at the wear rate I would say your going to be replacing the bottom pulley every 8-10k.

I thought you changed the speed of the charger with the pulley on the charger itself?

crank or blower pulley, makes no odds as long as gearing is changed the way you want it

Pulleys shouldnt wear out.

9.85 @ 145mph
202mph standing mile
speed didn't kill me, but taxation probably will

I did, think it cost £70 iirc.I just dont understand why else wouldnt vmax fit them, unless mine was the only one running that sort of boost pressures for some perculiar reason
