can someone explain to me what the flat black piece of vertical steel attached to the front of the car is please? Ive seen them on other track cars but never understood theyre purpose?

rad is a vectra one i think...you kind of loose track of what bits are from what:$

Yeah the black bit on the front is indeed a timing beam splitter, its also in a perfect place for taking the fookin skin off your shins everytime you walk in front of it*happy*
