both cars get a bit of abuse - mine more so. While I rate falkens, I'd be prepared to spend a little extra for the grip On 20th Apr, 2010 Paul S said:
I put Falkens on everything and i'm happy with them. But, I don't think they grip as well as the premium brands, although they are lasting well. I would recommend for a daily drive, but not for performance. Interesting no one mentioned yokohamas - had a set on a golf a few years back and couldn't fault them The only time I feel uneasy is when I'm exiting a roundabout in the 2.0 Focus in the rain and it wants to go straight on into the incoming traffic :( Slow down you hooligan!
If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

my dad's old 330 e90 ran mitchlins to start with but at one point we got through a set in less than 4000 miles!!!! but that was with alot of hard driving. then went to bridgstone and i would never get them again they were useless lack of grip, poor in the wet but very durable lasted 16000 miles. imo i would go for avon which i will be for the pug again :) Drives

Were the bridgestones of the right load index? sounds like they were maybe over rated meaning a harder compound.

the design shows a distinct lack of imagination, talk about starting off with a clean sheet of paper, then not bothering to fucking draw on it,lol On 20th Apr, 2012 Paul S said:
I'm mainly concerned about swirl in the runners caused by the tangential entry. |
