Good point, one which demonstrates the advantage of building up your own personal NCB from as early as possible - but most insurers take some account of numbers of years driving (claim free) even if it is on someone elses (or a company) policy. But there must be some logical explanation why the quote is so high.... 3 years NCB alone is 50% with most insurers.

youd be suprised how much 1 years no claim bonus takes off i reduced mine by 300 quid this year

Ive never paid more than £400-£500 for insurance other than Buisiness 2

I had merc cossie mr2's crx'x ect all before i was 25
