Bit of an update.

Got some feedback from turbo man and he thinks GT15 based units.

May be cost benefits to!

i would have thought this would be a bit small for most applications. But agree that it would be good to find a alternative to the GT1752

I agree, I think most people will want more power and opt for the GT17. They are widely available... well for me anyway as I work for Saab *wink*.

I bet my first wank came quicker than your first mini turbo

These new modern turbos with their quick spool up time, would make the competition harder.

1293 sprite - are you able to get the GT1752 in bulk for a group buy?

Betwix Harrogate and York

The GT1548 is almost identical to the R5 T2, and as such is a good choice as a modern replecement for the Mirage kit, it would be good on both small and large bore engines, for moderate power (160bhp).

The GT1544 looks good for small bore applications for 100 to 120 bhp.

It would be nice if both fitted one manifold, but the flanges are different.

Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

Sorry only just read this.

Its certainly something I can look into. We use genuine GM items and sometimes none genuine rebuilt ones for older Saabs if customers want a cheaper job.

I'll get a price for both, say in groups of 10's?

Thanks,

James.

Paris\' suburb

they're a bit big the gt2052/1752 is a better option, and they'll still flow 25 lb of air.

the 1752 isn't a smaller (2052) one the turbine side flow a bit better than a 2052 as they've just reduced his external diameter to make a freer flowing exhaust.

Mirage - what was the outcome on this? I gave up on my dream of turbo'ing my mini a while ago but now I have the time it's back on *smiley*

Rebuilding a 1992 mini...will be finished in 2019
