Nothing is impossible it just costs more and takes longer.

11.96 out of the box on Sat morning on fuel only NO GAS, then later on Sat 11.80 with a dash of gas.

However Sunday it didn't run well and there is water in one of the cylinders, bummer.

But hey, we were aiming for an 11 and did it, I'm bloody chuffed with that. The 11.96 was with a 60ft of 1.79 sec, the acceleration from that was unbelieveable.

and so you should be, now update your sig lol 60ft is stunning!

It was a fantastic weekend. It was a bit of a chore getting the car back together and ready for the event but it was worth it for sure. Got back to the workshop at midnight and once the cars and tools were unloaded got back to the flat at 01.00,

Denis I'm glad you got home OK, just a shame the new engine didn't work out better.

Simon good to meet you and I've got to thank you for that final race, managed to find that wee bit to get under 15 secs on the Sunday after running three 14.9s on Saturday.

We'll I'm pretty happy with the way things went for the estate. After finding out the timing was 20deg out, I knocked a bit off my times with a best on sunday of 16.6. The slip is in the car somewhere.

I was casting my mind back to when we first brought this car down to the show back around 2000 when I'm sure we ran in the 15's. The head is different and it ran a weber for a start but it was the same cam. Got a few ideas to get a bit more out of it for MITP

i think there is 18s in it without any changes, well a revcounter that doesnt bounce, should see 18s at the pod with 70mph over the line

2.2 60ft is pretty impressive.

I'm still using the same engine, as has been said, load of time wasters on ebay.

I was getting quicker times on the saterday, sudnay I ject kept cocking it up.

what a weekend,

Wsa good to bump into a few TM members in the que and out in the paddock, starting to put names to faces.

End result for me was new PB without gas of 12.84 and with Gas 11 dead! did not expect that!

Liked it when Nic lined up against a focus RS and made it look silly!

Got A GTM With A Honda In the Back, and huge Nitrous bottle where the passenger seat should be when racing!

I had no end of trouble with mine again! Ran absolutely fine saturday evening whilst going for a blast around the roads, then first run snapped my engine steady clean in two and had major problems with ecu cutting the engine out.

At least im consistant each year of never getting a clean run! lol
