That isnt really a water temperature related issue.

That's lean mixtures and/or detonation.


Yes, a hot engine can contribute to it happening, but I'd say there are fuelling or timing issues to look into too ( and perhaps inlet charge cooling ? )

detonation mike caused that if your mixture was spot on ............ i would look at the ignition advance and a better intercooler ....... mind you it was rater hot that day, which would have compounded the run away factor with EGT and the onset of det

thing is not to go there again and make sure! ..... it will be soon fixt mike if i can help you out buddy give me a ring

The mixture was good all the way, 11s all the run so it cant have been mixture, plus i ran with a little choke.

Rolling road after the rebuild!!

1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.
