Well that cleared it up nicely thankyou John I had assumed that there must have been more too it than meeted the eye!

Do you have to adjust the map much when the engine has been fitted into the car?

As this car is running an open exhaust no need for any changes - we spend a lot of time at low throttle openings making the motors run clean, this one again would tick over at 1000rpm and tootle around at walking pace in 2nd gear

If Carling made Mini engines
it would probably be like this one!
