Hmm, I dealt with a Peter Benn a couple of months ago from Laindon in Essex, Could be the same chap - I've had no problem (so far!).

this was a scottish chap, or sounded scottish, but sometimes i cant tell the difference between scots and the irish.

i was not particulary bothered about getting the money back, if i was i would have driven down there already but wanted to warn others of the dangers of sending things in the post which have been paid via paypal to none confirmed addresses. I

Well I am interested as I sold 'modifiedminis' a SC gear kit and sent it to a different address for him as he was moving. Ar$e, hindsight is wonderful!

I do have proof of delivery and a contact number for the chap it was delivered to. If he does feck me about I will go and brake his legs.

Id make sure the money is out of your account asap

Verified or not, he gave me the alternate address via Paypal and I have PoD for that address. If he tries anything funny then small claims it will be.....

Just to have a bit of a clear up, I am modifiedminis on here but most other forums I'm mini_turbo_pete. If you have been scammed I'm sorry but it's not me it's by someone else. I live in laindon not leigh on sea. If you could pm me the address in leigh on sea that you have as I want to know who has scammed someone using my name! Have recently purchased some stuff off of GraemeC with no problems at all. What was the paypal email address the money was sent from? Did you post it by tracked postage? As they will be able to give you the proof of delivery.

From me - thanks for popping on and making a post, I am sure you can see the similarities here and why I was nervous!

One of my friends just txt me as they saw the post so I thought i'd say my bit.

Just looking through the members whoever has signed up as mini_turbo_pete did so on 1st april this year, I have always been modifiedminis on here.

If you want to inform the police etc james and report the person for fraud etc I will fully cooperate. If you could PM me the name and the address it was sent to (if you don't want to send the full address just the road name) I would greatly appreciate it as i'd like to know the scum bag that has used one of my usernames from a different forum to defraud you.
