yep i have shane.

got a fucked clutch or something in the camper, and really cba to drive the mini down and camp the night.

Im just not looking forward to dragging the mini all the way to pod to be possibly rained off in a car ive not towed with before and am aprehencive after the disaster that was Avon!

yes but the muddy fields and having to wash the car off whilst hungover to get on the strip is enough reason not to camp.

i was going to camp but im not going to bother. so just going to leave early in the morning. weather is looking ok though

weathers grim here. if it dries out a bit then i'll investigate the vans clutch/gearbox and if i fix it i'll head down tonight. If not i'll be there early doors tomorrow in the mini.

would love to see matts cars move, only ever seen it on a stand and in video, would love to see the torque, i should be there in a 85% finished mini, have to set up the suspension bleed the brakes, sort the suspension handbrake and fit a seat when i finish work at 4 hopefully heading down at 7ish if it aint done ill be in the bird's car but atleast then i can drink tomorrow

vans fixed, just wiring a laptop charger in and washing up from last time i used it..

if it was only 3 hours away i'd be in the car on my way by now - try at least 5 hours each way!

It did rain yesterday, only early evening though, but it was bloody heavy!, cleared up for the night and woke to the sun trying to break though the already thin clouds. Was a pleasant day and I now suffer a mild sun burn from the rays that did get through.

Helped Ben H resolve a flooding issue on the TT2. I was probibly more of a hinderance than help as Its a carbie, and I havent works on a carb since, ooh, 2002 lol.

Managed to be a hinderance to Fast CArl And Tom F pretty much on and off all day

I did however managed to bag genuine made in england, new old stock, four x Timken front taper bearing sets and a Disc type CV joint for £20. We also managed to find 14 (half those are mine) 1275 primary gear thrust washers in a few sizes for £10.

Its amazing what you can find if you search through every box!

Just like to say thanks to whoever lent me their Trolley Jack on the Saturday at around 7pm! I was at santapod all day for the Drift practice and managed to blow a brake line on my Nissan.

My mate was running around asking if anyone had a jack we could use and he said he got it from the Turbominis stand. I didnt even realise it was MITP!

So yeah thanks alot to whoever lent their jack out, we managed to bodge the car down by where MikeRace's car was parked (looks awesome by the way).

And good to meet Shane randomly! Would have come to say hi but was having a pretty shite day to be honest!! I was the guy in the battered black Nissan with no rear bumper and white wheels
