1st off your stack pipe is on the wrong way *happy* just thought I would say second, and this is hard to pick out but the take off for the actuator and the bleed valve seems to be a different fitting. It could just be the angle of the picture.

I have only seen the one style of fitting to the T3 as fitted to the Metro turbo. This could add weight to the sugestion that this could have been for another car.

Also have you tried rotating the compressor housing to see if you can gain clearance that way.

its a .42

same as mine, but mine went on no bother. Perhaps some slight clocking will do the trick, the oil return seems to be too far outward.

defo, the return and feed are not vertical, so it can rotate some more and take the bolt bulges away from the block some more.
well in my humble onions anway!!

you see how the compressor outlet, in this photo is pointing almost directly up, just clearing the manifold (with the extentsion fitted). yours seems to be pointing rearward (looking as fitted to engine).so needs rotating anticlockwise as seen from that side.(offside) Clocking, so the whole assembly just clears the exaust manifold. ( by like 3-6mm).

Plus the centre piece may need some rotating as seen from the same side (offside as fitted) to ensure the oil enters from the very top and is returned from the Very bottem.(when fitted)
Just release the bolts either side of centre and this is easy.
Well in theory, mine was 20 yr old, and the bolts were quite difficult.
However, this one you have has been taken apart before, so you will find it easier.

colin
